Kaye Siemers

In 1979 I bought a 1907 rowhouse in North Capitol Hill and have lived there ever since. During this time I served on the boards of the North Capitol Hill Development Corporation and the Uptown Partnership. Both were dedicated to building affordable housing. As a member St. John’s Cathedral I joined the the Urban and Social Concerns Commission and a group to encourage the development of affordable housing. We collaborated with St. Francis shelter to build apartments near the church. I look forward to continuing my work toward improving our neighborhood.  Her term ends in 2022.
