The Greater Paths Committee, Wartburg College West, and the City of Denver’s Certifiably Green program are getting together once again to help extend the greening of Uptown on the Hill Neighborhood’s business community. This year, the first meeting happened on Thursday, August 27th at the Denver Bicycle Cafe. Students from Wartburg College’s Leadership Course met with leaders in the community to help determine the needs of the program and the negihborhood. This year, students will be working with previously certified businesses to expand a mentorship program that hopes to garner more interest in the Certifiably Green Denver program. The Greater Paths Committee hopes to achieve a goal of 50% Green Certified businesses within the Uptown on the Hill Neighborhood borders by the end of the project. Working with leadership students from Wartburg College should help us expand our reach in the business community. If you would like to have your business certified, please contact CertifiablyGreenDenver@Denvergov.org.
